Daejeon will be equipped with an inner city road network which enables travelers to reach every part of the country within one hour. With the construction of highways between Daejeon and Cheongju, and Daejeon and Dangjin, it will also be possible to reach international airports and harbors within half an hour.
• Integrated Network of Transportation
Daejeon intends to provide convenient public transportation by connecting its system of public transportation with major urban facilities. It will also become a more environment-friendly city by the introduction of new transportation methods such as magnetic levitation trains and mono-rail trains.
